𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐒𝐍𝐑 ? & 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝? OSNR Margin (Optical Signal-to-Noise Ratio Margin) is a critical parameter in optical communication systems that measures the difference between the actual OSNR and the minimum OSNR required for error free signal detection (typically defined by a bit error rate threshold). It provides insight into how much "headroom" or tolerance a system has before it fails to maintain acceptable performance. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝=> OSNR Margin=Actual OSNR−Required OSNR 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆: Indicates the system's robustness against impairments like noise, dispersion, and nonlinear effects. Higher OSNR Margin means the system is more resilient to degradation over time or due to network changes. NOKIA BTS CONFIGURATION RESET MANUALLY BUTTON

FSMF & AIRSCALE  ASIA,ASIB,ASIK

Carry out a configuration reset of the Extension FSMF.

To enable the Extension FSMF to operate in this role it will need a configuration reset.

The configuration reset deletes any existing configuration data and withdraws the Master System Module role.

The process is performed with the Configuration Reset button located on the underside of the EIF1 port of the FSMF:

v  Reset button is located next to the EIF1 interface. Press reset button for 5 seconds to clear configuration data. Manual reset is required afterwards for changes to take effect.
